Shawn A. McMillan - Partner

I love practicing law because of the people I meet. Our clients are creative, passionate, savvy and fun. Each day presents new challenges and adventures. I enjoy working with clients to find innovative ways to protect their business and help them succeed. Beyond advising clients on legal matters, I enjoy helping clients find new opportunities, as well as make beneficial connections. With over 20 years of legal experience, in addition to my personal business ventures, I am able to provide my clients with a wholistic approach to their needs.

I graduated from Clemson University magna cum laude with a B.A. in English, and earned my law degree from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill School of Law, graduating in the top 20% of my class. I am admitted to the North Carolina State Bar and the Mecklenburg County Bar. I am a proud and active member of CREW Charlotte and our firm is a Diamond Sponsor of the chapter.

I have an amazing wife, and four wonderful children. We enjoy pulling for our Clemson Tigers and traveling. Having grown up with a half-pipe in my back yard, I still enjoy skateboarding.
