J. Austin Baker - Attorney

I have a passion for getting things across the finish line. I enjoy working with clients to find creative ways to get transactions completed. I know that deadlines are important and made for a reason, and I always do my best to meet them. I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs and my passion is helping business people who are brave enough to take on risk accomplish their goals while protecting their hard work at the same time. Outside of helping people with transactions, I enjoy meeting people and introducing them to others who have opportunities for business and growth. Also, because I am licensed in both North and South Carolina, I am not as limited in where I can connect people and help them succeed.

When I am not working, I enjoy automotive fabrication and off-roading. I have a 1985 Jeep CJ-7 that I am restoring and upgrading to take me anywhere I want to go. When I am not in the garage, I try to get out on the water to fish and float around or out in the woods on a hike or hunt. I have a beautiful wife, Jamie, and daughter, Elise that I try to spend as much time with as possible. When things get a little cooler outside, we enjoy obnoxiously ringing cowbells as we watch our Mississippi State Bulldogs in our living room.

I graduated Cum Laude from Mississippi State with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2011. Afterwards, I graduated Cum Laude from Charlotte School of Law in 2014. After law school, I was admitted into the North Carolina Bar in 2014, the South Carolina Bar in 2015 and waived into the Georgia Bar in 2020.
