Heather Cooper – Attorney
I value honesty, loyalty, and dependability. Being a great lawyer is about vastly more than the work, it’s about who you meet and the relationships you build along the way. I am originally from Syracuse, NY and graduated from Fredonia State University of New York with a B.A. in English and minor in political science. I spent a large amount of my time on the volleyball court as a collegiate athlete and loved every moment of being part of a great team. I then attended Syracuse University College of Law where I had the opportunity to complete internships in new cities like Washington, D.C., and Charlotte, NC.
Following graduation, I was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar and shortly after moved to Charlotte, NC. I then joined the McMillan team in January of 2021 in the Charleston, SC office. I was admitted into the South Carolina Bar shortly after. Outside of work, I enjoy discovering all that Charleston has to offer including finding the best places for Sunday brunch and a good coffee, shopping on King St., and of course, spending time at the beach.
