Jeff Alexander – Attorney
I am an attorney licensed in North Carolina (2012), Illinois (2008), and before the US Patent and Trademark Office (2009), as well as a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina (2020). With a diverse career spanning law, real estate, and construction, I bring a unique and comprehensive perspective to the commercial real estate industry.
After relocating to Charlotte in late 2008, I navigated various roles that allowed me to combine my legal and real estate expertise. In 2024, I transitioned from running my own solo law practice to joining McMillan PLLC, where I continue to help clients navigate complex legal and real estate matters with the insight and experience gained over the years. Whether the issue is large or small, my background equips me to meet my clients’ needs with a well-rounded and strategic approach.
A proud Ohio native, I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree and earned my Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in 2008. In the midst of the 2008 subprime mortgage crisis, I relocated to Charlotte to join a family business, which eventually led me to pursue my legal career in North Carolina.
On a personal note, I’m married to my incredible wife, Meigan, a Charlotte native, and together we are raising two wonderful boys, JJ and Kedar. We’re active members of Covenant Presbyterian Church, and I serve as a board member for Wayfinders, a nonprofit dedicated to igniting students’ potential by expanding their confidence, connections, and horizons. Outside of work, I’m passionate about the outdoors, spending time hunting, traveling, and challenging myself at Charlotte Jiu-Jitsu Academy.
