Amber Mufale - Attorney
My favorite part about practicing law is using my creativity to help people solve problems and achieve their goals. A self-proclaimed neat freak, it’s especially rewarding for me to organize complex transactions. I enjoy the process of researching the issues, digging into the details, piecing together what’s important, and then dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s. As a former journalist, I have a deep appreciation for clear and timely communication; I respond to people quickly and I can’t stand having any of those unread email notification bubbles on my phone.
I’m a native New Yorker, but I spent seven years in Charlotte before calling Charleston home in January 2021. Outside of work, you can usually find me on Folly Beach; walking my two mini dachshunds, Maya and Calvin, on the West Ashley Greenway; or working out so I can enjoy one of the many restaurants the low country has to offer. Most people are surprised to find out that I have trained in a variety of martial arts and my hidden superpower is knowing the words to almost every song.
I graduated from Boston University in 2008 with a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism and then worked as a television news producer before going to law school. I graduated from Syracuse University College of Law in 2012 and was admitted to the New York State Bar. I have since been admitted to the North Carolina and South Carolina State Bars as well.
